As with any connection to a web server, the server of our web hosting provider cyon in Basel, Switzerland, logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and the operating system of your device, the data, the access time, the type of browser and the browser request including the origin of the request (referrer). This is necessary for technical reasons in order to provide you with our website. cyon uses technical and organisational measures to protect this data from unauthorised access and does not pass it on to third parties. Insofar as we process personal data in the process, we do so because of our interest in providing you with the best possible user experience and in ensuring the security and stability of our systems.
Additional automatically collected dataIn addition to the raw logs, we store the session ID and the time of the first and last connection in our database. This data is needed to identify the participants of a workshop. This identification is necessary, for example, to be able to count the total number of votes cast by a person.
Data that you send usIn addition to this automatically collected data, any data you enter (name or pseudonym, your ideas, your ratings, etc) will of course be stored and shared anonymously with the other participants and the moderators.
In order to participate in your workshop, you have to allow the use of cookies. These cookies are essential to identify the different participants of a workshop. Only the strict minimum of cookies will be used. No tracking cookies or other third party cookies are used.
The automatically collected data (raw logs, as well as session ID) are needed to operate the website in its current form. They are used exclusively for the functionality of the website and in summarised form for visitor statistics (AWstats). The data you enter is used to run the workshops (collection of ideas, evaluations, etc).
All data is stored exclusively on the servers of our hosting provider cyon.ch in Basel (Switzerland) and on CORESO's internal computers (as a backup). No data is transferred abroad.
The raw logs are kept for a maximum of 24 hours, but can be stored on the server in processed form (AWStats) for an unlimited time. The session IDs as well as the data entered by you are kept on the server until the moderator deletes the workshop or at least the answers. If desired, CORESO will delete the data immediately after a workshop has ended and after the data has been transferred to a local data carrier for further processing.
If you have any questions about the tool or these data protection provisions, you are welcome to contact us directly: info@coreso.ch
